QUICK VERDICT
The Neuron 02 is the better defensive wall — designed to absorb and redirect everything your opponents throw at you. The ML10 is the more versatile control racket — it defends beautifully but also has more offensive capability when you need to shift gears. If you are a pure defender, go Neuron. If you want control with a dash of attack, go ML10.

Design & Construction
The Neuron 02 is built around Chingotto's defensive playing style. The round shape creates the largest possible sweet spot, the medium-low balance keeps the weight in your hand for fast reactions at the net, and the MultiEva core provides excellent shock absorption. Everything about this racket is designed to help you get the ball back, no matter where it comes at you.
The ML10 is one of the most iconic rackets in padel history. Miguel Lamperti has been playing with variations of this racket for over a decade, and the 2026 version refines a formula that has stood the test of time. The 3K carbon face is slightly stiffer than the Neuron's MultiCarbon, and the HR3 core has a firmer response that gives the ML10 a bit more pop on offensive shots.
Both rackets are round-shaped with centre-focused sweet spots, but the ML10 carries slightly more weight in the head, giving it a touch more punch when you decide to attack.
Control & Defence
This is where both rackets truly shine, and the differences are fascinating. The Neuron 02 is the ultimate defensive weapon. It absorbs pace like a sponge, making it incredibly easy to neutralise your opponent's smashes and return deep, controlled lobs. If you've ever watched Chingotto play, you know why — the man retrieves shots that no one else can, and this racket is engineered to do exactly that.
The ML10 is also excellent defensively, but it has a slightly firmer feel that gives you more feedback and more offensive options from defensive positions. Where the Neuron absorbs and redirects, the ML10 absorbs and counters. You can turn defence into attack more naturally with the ML10 because the firmer core lets you generate pace even from difficult positions.
For pure, wall-like defence: Neuron 02 wins. For defence-to-attack transitions: ML10 wins.
Power & Attacking Potential
Neither of these are power rackets, but when you need to finish a point, can they deliver? The ML10 has the edge here. Its firmer core and slightly higher balance point give it noticeably more punch on smashes, vibroras, and bandejas compared to the Neuron. You can play aggressive padel with the ML10 — it won't match a Hack 04, but it won't leave you powerless either.
The Neuron 02 is more limited offensively. It's designed to control, not to attack. You can still hit winners, but you need to generate more of the power yourself. This is the trade-off for having the most comfortable, forgiving, and defensive racket in its class.
Who Should Choose Which?
Choose the Neuron 02 if you:
Are a defensive specialist who prides yourself on getting everything back. Want the most forgiving sweet spot possible. Prefer a lighter, more manoeuvrable racket. Play at the net a lot and need fast reactions. Suffer from arm or elbow issues (the softer core is gentler on joints). Want to save €10.
Choose the ML10 if you:
Want a control racket that can also attack when needed. Prefer a slightly firmer, crisper feel on every shot. Like to transition from defence to attack. Want an iconic racket with over a decade of professional pedigree. Play a complete, all-court game with a control-first philosophy.

Winner: Nox ML10 Ventus Control 3K 2026
The ML10 edges it for being the more complete control racket. It defends almost as well as the Neuron 02 while offering meaningfully more attacking potential when you need it. Unless you are a pure, dedicated defensive player — in which case the Neuron is your racket — the ML10's versatility makes it the better investment for most control-oriented players.
