At Openplay.ie, we want you to be completely happy with your purchase. If something isn't right, we're here to help.

30-Day Returns

You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return any unused item in its original packaging for a full refund. Items must be in the same condition as when you received them — unworn, unused, with all tags and protective packaging intact.

Non-Returnable Items

For hygiene and safety reasons, the following items cannot be returned once opened:

  • Padel balls (once the can is opened)
  • Overgrips (once packaging is opened)
  • Wristbands (once packaging is opened)

Padel rackets can be returned within 30 days provided they show no signs of use — no ball marks, scratches, or damage.

How to Return an Item

To start a return, email us at hello@openplay.ie with your order number and the reason for your return. We'll provide you with return instructions and a shipping address. Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty or we sent the wrong product.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect your return, we'll process your refund within 5 business days. The refund will be issued to your original payment method. Please allow an additional 5–10 business days for the refund to appear on your statement, depending on your bank.

Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a faulty or damaged item, please contact us immediately at hello@openplay.ie with photos of the damage. We'll arrange a free return and send a replacement or full refund — your choice.

Exchanges

We don't offer direct exchanges. If you'd like a different product, please return the original item for a refund and place a new order.

Your EU Consumer Rights

Under EU law, you have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving your goods, for any reason, without needing to justify your decision. This is in addition to our 30-day returns policy. For more information on your consumer rights, visit the Competition and Consumer Protection Commission.
