The Hack is Bullpadel's most famous line and Paquito Navarro is the player it belongs to. The problem with the Hack has always been that the diamond version is brutally unforgiving — magnificent if you are Paquito, punishing if you are not. The Hack 04 Hybrid 2025 is the answer: same platform, same 365–375g class and 38mm profile, same TriCarbon 18K face and MultiEVA core, but a hybrid shape and a lower balance around 25cm. Bullpadel call it "dynamic power" and aim it at players who dominate counterattacks. At €154.95 against a €299.99 RRP, it is the most sensible way into the Hack family.

Those are manufacturer figures rather than independent testing, but they tell the same story — this is a control and speed racket first, with the manufacturer itself declining to claim big power.
What reviewers praise
Control, unanimously. Padelful's 9.1 control score is backed up by their user reviews, where "good control" appears in four of the five. One intermediate reviewer described it as "incredibly precise, almost like having a glove" — and that precision is the racket's defining quality.
Speed and balance. "Good balance" and "light and agile" recur throughout the user feedback despite the racket weighing 365–375g. That is the ~25cm balance and the Air React Channel at work: the mass is there, but it is not out at the head fighting you on every swing.
Comfort and durability. Multiple reviewers list comfort and durability as positives. Bullpadel state that Ease Vibe absorbs up to 49% of impact vibration, and the Hesacore grip spreads load across the palm; together with Vibradrive, that is a well-covered comfort package for a professional frame.
It rewards patience. One advanced reviewer put it memorably: it was "not a love at first touch" and initially one of their least favourite rackets, but became a favourite "once you appreciate it for what it is". Several others echo that arc.

Power is the recurring complaint. "Lacks power" appears in four of Padelful's five user reviews, and Bullpadel's own published power rating is 2/5. Padelful's expert score of 8.7 for power is notably more generous than what actual users report. Our reading: the racket has power available, but it demands that you generate the racket-head speed yourself rather than handing it to you.
Low rebound. Padelful's lowest metric is rebound at 7.8, and one reviewer described it as "completely lacks rebound in fast balls" — framing it as both a positive (you can absorb and control incoming pace) and a negative (you have to work for depth). If you like a lively, springy ball exit, this is not that racket.
Medium-hard, and dry with it. One reviewer found it "too dry and hard" and unusable for deep shots or aerial play, and flagged that it "penalises bad technique". The comfort technology reduces vibration, but it does not make the racket feel soft.
Mixed reports on the sweet spot. Padelful score it 8.7 and several users call it wide, but two reviewers found it smaller or lower than expected, which made smashing at full power harder. On a hybrid shape that is a reasonable spread of opinion — where you make contact matters more here than on a round frame.
Irish conditions
Ireland's padel is overwhelmingly played indoors at heated club venues — Dublin, Cork, Galway, Limerick and Belfast all have them — and that is the environment this racket is happiest in. Indoor courts mean a consistent, lively ball, and the Hack 04 Hybrid's control-first character lets you place shots precisely rather than fighting an unpredictable bounce.
Outdoors in cold Irish weather, the picture is more mixed. Cold balls are slower and less lively, which compounds the low rebound score — you will have to work harder for depth on a January evening than you would indoors. On the other hand, the ~25cm balance keeps the swing fast when your timing is off, and Ease Vibe plus Vibradrive plus the Hesacore grip take the edge off the harsh impacts that cold carbon frames otherwise deliver. Practically: warm up properly, expect to swing a little harder outdoors, and use fresh balls.
