Before you read on: what we could and couldn't verify
The Vertex 04 Light X Series 2026 is a Padel Market exclusive series. It is not listed on bullpadel.com, which means there is no manufacturer product page to check figures against. Published information on this racket is genuinely thinner than we'd like, and we'd rather say so than paper over it.
What we can verify: the shape, weight range, core, face material, frame construction, surface finish, level, and the full technology package. Those are consistent across the sources that do carry it.
What we cannot verify and have therefore left out: balance (sources genuinely conflict), profile/beam thickness, official RRP, and any player association. We've found no reliable figure for any of these, so you won't find one on this page.
The Vertex is Bullpadel's attacking family — diamond-shaped, power-first rackets built for players who want to finish points from the net. The problem with that recipe is that it's demanding: diamond shapes concentrate the sweet spot high in the head, which is brilliant on a well-struck smash and unforgiving on everything else. The 04 Light X Series is the answer to that, at least in intent: the same Vertex architecture in a lighter, more manageable build, aimed at advanced players and improving intermediates rather than only the former.

What the technologies actually do
Air Power. Bullpadel's headline claim here is that it increases the hollow surface length by 50% compared with the previous Air React Channel. In practice, a longer channel through the frame is about redistributing mass and airflow to help the head accelerate — the mechanism behind the "light but still hits hard" pitch.
MultiEva (dual-density). Two EVA rubber densities in one core. The firmer rubber delivers the punch on attacking shots; the softer sections give you feel and absorb some of the harshness that a stiff diamond racket would otherwise transmit into your arm.
Fibrix. A carbon-and-fibreglass blend on the faces. Pure carbon is stiff, powerful and unforgiving; fibreglass is softer and more tolerant. Blending them is a deliberate compromise, and it's the clearest signal of what this racket is trying to be.
CarbonTube. A 100% carbon frame construction — the structural rigidity that lets the racket stay stable on hard contact instead of twisting.
CurvAktiv. Bullpadel's frame-curvature geometry, designed to shape how the head behaves through the swing.
Top Spin. The rough surface finish. It grips the ball's felt for genuine spin generation — essential for the víbora and kicking serves that a diamond racket is built to hit.
CustomWeight. Lets you add weight yourself to tune the balance. Given that we can't tell you what the stock balance is, this is more useful than usual: you can adjust it to where you want it.
Our assessment
These are our own editorial ratings based on the manufacturer's published specifications and how this racket is positioned — not third-party test data. We searched for published independent test scores for the Vertex 04 Light X Series 2026 and could not find any, which is consistent with it being a retailer-exclusive series with limited coverage. Rather than borrow numbers from a different Vertex model or invent them, we're telling you plainly that the ratings below are ours.
What reviewers praise
With published coverage this limited, we're going to be careful about attributing opinions to reviewers who haven't published any. What the specification sheet supports is this:
The materials are not compromised. A 100% carbon CarbonTube frame, a Fibrix carbon-blend face and a dual-density MultiEva core is the same class of construction Bullpadel uses further up the Vertex line. This is not a cost-reduced lookalike — the hardware is real.
The Light concept addresses a real problem. Diamond rackets are the most demanding shape in padel, and plenty of capable club players buy one, struggle with it, and quietly go back to a teardrop. A lighter diamond with a forgiving face blend is a sensible answer to that, and €149.95 is a far less painful place to find out whether a diamond suits you than €269.95.

What reviewers criticise
The information gap itself. This is our main criticism and it's a fair one. There is no bullpadel.com product page for this racket. Balance figures conflict between the retailers that do list it, and we found no official RRP or profile figure. For a €149.95 purchase, that's less transparency than you should have to accept, and it's the reason we've left several rows of the spec table blank rather than fill them with guesses.
"Light" is relative. At a stated 355–370g this is not a light racket in absolute terms — it's light for a Vertex. Anyone reading "Light" as "easy" will be surprised. It is still a diamond, and diamonds punish mistimed contact.
A 15g stated range is wide. 355g and 370g feel meaningfully different in the hand. Check the weight of the racket you actually receive, and use the CustomWeight system to adjust from there if needed.
Exclusive-series trade-offs. Being a Padel Market exclusive means narrower distribution, less independent testing, fewer second opinions and potentially harder warranty logistics than a mainline Bullpadel model.
Irish conditions
Two things matter for this racket in Ireland. First, cold: stiff carbon frames get harsher in the cold and transmit more shock, which is exactly when a diamond shape is least forgiving. The dual-density MultiEva core and the fibreglass content in the Fibrix face are what stop this becoming a problem — they're the reason we'd take this over a full-carbon-faced diamond for winter play. Second, damp: Irish courts, indoor and outdoor, get humid, and a damp ball skids and loses grip. That's where the rough Top Spin finish earns its place, biting into the felt when a smooth face would slip. The trade-off is wear — rough surfaces abrade faster, and on gritty outdoor courts you'll see it sooner. Head-to-head comparisons
vs Bullpadel Vertex 05 2026 (€269.95)
The 05 is the current flagship and €120 more. It's the racket for a player who already has the technique to exploit a full-specification diamond and wants the sharpest, most powerful version of it. The 04 Light X is the lighter, more manageable route into the same family at a little over half the price. If you're honest with yourself and your smash technique is still a work in progress, the 04 Light X is the better buy — the 05's extra capability is only extra if you can use it. At €149.95 this occupies a useful gap: proper carbon-frame attacking hardware below the €200 mark, in a build that an improving intermediate can actually play with. The caveat remains the documentation. If you need a fully specified racket with a manufacturer page you can check, buy a mainline Vertex. For an improving intermediate who wants to develop an attacking game without being punished on every mistimed ball, that's a well-judged proposition, and the materials are not cut-price.
