Where to Play Padel in Dublin
Dublin has 61 open padel courts across 21 venues — more than any other county in Ireland. Nineteen of those are indoor, so the season never really stops. Eight more venues are in development. Below is every court in the county, sorted by indoor and outdoor, with booking links.
A note on the “padel capital” question, since it comes up: Dublin has the most courts by a distance, but Limerick has the highest concentration — 11.5 courts per 100,000 people against Dublin's 4.2. Most courts, and most courts per head, are two different titles.
Indoor venues let you play year-round whatever the weather is doing; outdoor courts come into their own on long summer evenings. Many clubs welcome pay-and-play visitors, and several run coaching, leagues and social sessions — the fastest way to find a doubles partner.
Indoor Padel Courts in Dublin
Five venues, 19 courts. These are the ones to book between October and March.
Dublin Sports Dome (Padel Dome) — Santry
Type: Indoor | Courts: 6
The largest indoor padel facility in Dublin, on the northside in Santry, and widely known simply as the Padel Dome. Six full-size courts under a dome structure with good lighting and ventilation. The court count is the point here — six means you can usually get a slot at short notice, which is rare in Dublin. Good for groups, corporate events and anyone who wants regular competitive play. Coaching and equipment hire on site.
House of Padel — Tallaght
Type: Indoor | Courts: 4 panoramic
HOP on Old Belgard Road in Cookstown Industrial Estate, Dublin 24, bills itself as Dublin's first premium indoor padel club and it is fitted out accordingly — four panoramic courts, a sauna, ice plunge pools, a health food bar and Ireland's first pickleball court. Booking is through their own app rather than a third-party platform. Pay-as-you-go is available alongside membership, so you do not need to join to play.
Druid Padel Kimmage
Type: Indoor | Courts: 3
Druid's Kimmage venue in Dublin 6 is one of the city's busiest dedicated padel centres. Three indoor courts, and a strong programme of social sessions, coaching clinics and leagues — which makes it one of the better options if you are starting from zero and do not yet have three other people to play with.
Star Padel — Templeogue
Type: Indoor | Courts: 3
Star Padel at St Mary's College RFC in Templeogue has three professional-standard indoor courts and hosted the Hiscox Padel Irish Open in July 2026 — a reasonable proxy for court quality. Coaching, social play and leagues all run here, and courts book through Playtomic.
OB Padel — Old Belvedere RFC, Ballsbridge

Three indoor panoramic courts at Old Belvedere RFC on Anglesea Road, Dublin 4 — the closest indoor padel to the city centre on the south side. The club replaced its squash courts to build these, which tells you something about how quickly padel has moved in Dublin. Check with the club directly for booking.

Sixteen venues, 42 courts. Traditional tennis clubs adding padel accounts for most of this list — which is why so many are in south Dublin.
Padel PSLC Portmarnock
Type: Outdoor | Courts: 5 (expanded 2026)
Portmarnock Sports and Leisure Club expanded its padel offering in 2026 and now has five floodlit outdoor courts, making it the biggest outdoor venue in the county. Floodlights matter more than people expect — they are what turn an outdoor court into a year-round one. Coaching, leagues and a round-robin series all run here, and courts are open to members and non-members.

Druid Padel Coolmine RFC
Type: Outdoor | Courts: 4
Four outdoor courts at Coolmine RFC in Dublin 15, run in partnership with Druid. Relaxed club atmosphere, with Druid's coaching and social play programme running alongside regular bookings. The obvious choice if you are in Blanchardstown, Castleknock or thereabouts.

Bushy Park Tennis & Padel Club — Terenure
Type: Outdoor | Courts: 4
Home of the Padel Federation of Ireland, which makes Bushy Park the administrative centre of the sport in this country as well as a four-court club. Leagues, tournaments and social sessions run constantly. If you want to plug into the Irish padel scene rather than just book a court, start here.

Leopardstown Golf Padel Range — Foxrock

Four outdoor panoramic courts at Leopardstown Golf Centre, Dublin 18, bookable now. A useful south-side option, and one of the newer additions to the county. Check with the venue directly for booking.
Elm Park Golf & Sports Club — Donnybrook

One of Dublin's established sporting clubs, with three outdoor courts added to an already strong facility. Available to members and visitors, with coaching for newcomers.

One of Ireland's most established racquet clubs, with three outdoor padel courts and an active competitive and social scene. Guest access varies — check with the club for current arrangements.

Two outdoor courts run by dlr Leisure, with pay-and-play access and no membership requirement — one of the easiest venues in the county to get onto if you are trying padel for the first time.
