Padel LK, Limerick: Prices, Booking & What to Expect

Padel LK in Ballysimon is Limerick city's first dedicated padel centre and still its best known: eight fully indoor courts — seven doubles and one singles — at Delta Retail Park on the east side of the city, a few minutes from the M7. It opened in January 2025, founded by Limerick entrepreneur Peter Brazil with fellow Limerick natives Cian McNamara and Eimear McManus, and has since added a café, a gym and a recovery suite under the same roof; the club bills itself as Ireland's largest indoor padel and wellness facility. Limerick now has 24 open padel courts across five venues — more per head than any county in the Republic — and a third of them are here.

How Much Does It Cost?

Padel LK charges per court per hour, and the price depends on the day and the time. At the time of writing (September 2026), a doubles court is €40 off-peak (Mon–Fri 10am–3pm) and €48 peak (Mon–Fri 4pm–11pm and all day Saturday and Sunday). Split four ways that's €10–€12 each for an hour. The singles court is €25 off-peak, €30 peak and €35 at weekends — €12.50–€17.50 a head between two.

Two ways to play for less:

  • Early Risers — the 9am slot, Monday to Friday, is €32 for a doubles court (€8 each) and €20 for singles.
  • Student rate — €32 per hour Mon–Fri 9am–4pm, including racket hire, as long as at least two of the four players are students.

Racket rental is €5 per racket and a tube of three balls is €10 at the desk. One thing to know before you book: bookings cancelled within 24 hours are non-refundable and can't be moved or credited — the club suggests offering your slot to other players in its WhatsApp community instead.

How to Book

Padel LK runs on Matchpoint rather than Playtomic. Book through the court grid on padellk.ie or the free Padel LK app (listed as “Limerick Padel” on the App Store and Google Play). Doubles, singles, the recovery suite and gym classes are all booked from the same place.

If you're short a player, the app's Play! feature (launched September 2026) lets you open a match and set the level you want, or browse matches other members have started and join and pay your share in one tap. It's the easiest way to get a game without a fixed four.

New to Padel? Start Here

You don't need a partner, a racket or any racket-sport background to play at Padel LK. The club runs coaching, academy sessions and social games for all levels under head coach Santiago Junyent, and its August bank holiday Summer Open puts on beginner, intermediate, advanced and mixed tournaments alongside a “Come & Try” session. Between the social games and the Play! open-match feature, you don't need to arrive with a four to get a game at your level.

More Than Courts

This is the part that sets Padel LK apart from a straight court hall. Padel Zero Café does coffee, protein smoothies and açai bowls; there's a gym on site run with The Pilates Room, including Reformer Pilates classes; and the Recovery Suite — a hot tub, two ice baths, recovery boots, massage guns, a sauna and a steam room — takes up to eight people at a time and is booked separately through the app. The club also hosts corporate days and group events across its eight courts.

What to Bring

Non-marking court shoes, sportswear, water — and, once you're hooked, your own racket. Renting is perfect for a first visit, but at €5 a session a weekly player spends the price of a racket on hire inside a season: our Babolat starter kit bundles a Counter Origin racket, three Wilson balls, three overgrips and a frame protector for €104.95, delivered free anywhere in Limerick.
