It's shaping up to become one of the strongest padel counties in the southeast. If you've been waiting for padel to arrive on your doorstep, the wait is nearly over.
The Woodlands Hotel in Dunmore Road already offers four outdoor courts, giving players in and around Waterford city a proper place to play. It's a lovely setting with good facilities, and the hotel's leisure centre means you can make a full day of it. But the real excitement lies in what's coming — Padel 100 is rolling out courts at multiple locations including Dungarvan CBS, the Gold Coast Hotel in Dungarvan, and West Waterford Golf Club, while Dunmore East is also getting its own courts.
Woodlands Hotel and Bohemians FC are currently Waterford's go-to padel venues, and once the remaining facilities open — including several coastal locations — the county will have padel coverage from the city out to the coast and into West Waterford.
