Latest Padel Courts Opening in Ireland — July 2026

Ireland's padel boom isn't slowing down. Here's our verified monthly round-up of courts that have just opened and what's confirmed to come — every entry checked against live booking pages and the venues' own announcements. (Catch up on June's edition here.)

Just Opened

The Padel Factory — Tuam, Co. Galway

North Galway finally has padel: The Padel Factory opened its three indoor courts at Airglooney Business Park, off the Tuam bypass, in June — and its opening week was packed. It's the first venue serving north and east Galway and south Mayo. Book through the free “The Padel Factory” app (Matchpoint), and read our full Padel Factory Tuam guide for everything you need before your first game.

Padel100 at Finn Valley Campus — Stranorlar, Co. Donegal

Donegal's famous Finn Valley sports campus officially opened its three new padel courts on 27 June, with Minister of State for Sport Charlie McConalogue cutting the ribbon. It's the county's first Padel100 site and part of the operator's community rollout that's putting affordable courts into local sports campuses nationwide. Courts are bookable through padel100.ie. More courts for the county — see our Donegal padel guide.

Let's Go Padel East Belfast — Shorts Club, Holywood Road

The disused bowling green at Shorts Recreation & Sports Club has become East Belfast's biggest indoor padel venue: seven courts (five doubles, two singles), now live and bookable on Playtomic. It's the latest step in Let's Go Padel's rapid expansion across the north.

Let's Go Padel Ballygawley — Co. Tyrone

A six-court indoor club (four doubles, two singles) at the Ballygawley roundabout brings padel to the mid-Tyrone area, about 15 minutes from Dungannon — also bookable on Playtomic.

Handy for players up north: Let's Go Padel moved its entire network onto Playtomic on 1 June, so all their venues — Ballymoney, Lurgan, Ballyclare, Crumlin Road, Derry and more — are now in the one app.

Opening Soon

West Wood Club, Leopardstown — Dublin's Big One

The headline act of the summer: West Wood Club is building Ireland's largest indoor padel facility at Leopardstown Racecourse — eight courts including two exhibition-grade MejorSet courts, plus two pickleball courts, all under a new air dome. The club has confirmed an end-of-August opening, with booking via Playtomic and court-fee access for non-members. Expect opening-week slots to vanish quickly.

The Padel100 Pipeline

Padel100 now has 24 clubs live and is installing up to 12 courts a month, with 11 more sites marked “coming soon” on its live map — including three Dublin school sites (Ballymun, Tallaght and Dublin 10), Monaghan United FC, Kinnegad GAA in Westmeath, Athlone, Cahir, Dungarvan, Gorey, Bunclody and Limerick. Their free schools initiative, launched in June, means many of these double as community venues outside school hours.

Let's Go Padel Heads South

The operator has confirmed its first venues in the Republic — Sligo and Ballyshannon, Co. Donegal — alongside Armagh and Strabane, all listed as coming soon. No dates published yet; we'll confirm in a future edition.

On the Horizon

Two big builds worth watching, though neither opens this quarter: The Padel Club Cork in Douglas (six courts at St Patrick's Woollen Mills, €2m project, planning approved in May, targeting end of 2026) and Atlantic Padel Club in Galway (seven indoor courts, under construction, waitlist open). We'll list them the month bookings go live — that's the standard every entry on this page has to meet.
