Padel balls explained

Padel balls look like tennis balls but are slightly smaller and lower-pressure, which gives the slower, more controlled bounce the enclosed, glass-walled game needs. Pressurised balls play fast and lively straight out of the tube — they're what you'll find in clubs and tournaments across Ireland.

How many do you need?

Balls are a consumable — the internal pressure drops with play. A competitive pair will open a fresh tube every match or two, while social players get a few sessions from one. Buying by the case works out far cheaper per tube, so it's the easiest way to save if you play regularly.

We stock FIP-approved match balls from Head, Wilson, Adidas and Bullpadel from €5.99 a tube, with free shipping across Ireland on orders over €75 from our Waterford base. The Head Pro S+ and Wilson Premier are the tour-standard choices; the Bullpadel and Adidas options are great value for practice and club play.
